Job Description/Pricing

 

Pinkerton Government Services, Inc. (PGS) will respond to solicitations requiring security clearances. PGS holds appropriate clearances from various government agencies and verification is available upon request.

 

PGS requires all positions to undergo an intensive background investigation and pre-employment screening process. All personnel receive drug screening and psychometric testing. We are experienced in meeting and exceeding GSA and Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service (FPS) standards, and/or other government contracting authority requirements. When applicable all positions will meet all requirements for a clearance and/or suitability adjudication, and complete required firearms qualification and/or re-qualification, supervisor or other FPS, and/or other government contracting authority requirements, and/or company required training prior to or as a part of post assignment when allowed by SOW requirements.

 

Each job position has a job description that is shown in this brochure. The job description shows the general nature and tasks being performed by individuals assigned to that position. These descriptions are not intended to be an exclusive list of all duties, responsibilities and skills required. Authority, duties, and individual responsibilities are defined by each customer and each SOW. PGS can and may develop customized positions, job descriptions and labor costs in response to customer and SOW needs. PGS is experienced in implementation of the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) of 1965.

 

PROJECT MANAGER

Serves as a key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high quality customer service; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner. Assists in negotiation of client contracts; provides support in security planning, assessments and surveys; reviews/updates post orders.

 

Oversees and participates in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development and retention of high caliber staff and supervisors; ensures that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect; plans, assigns, and directs work; coaches employees, and carries out disciplinary actions, as necessary; supports staff as appropriate in carrying out their respective responsibilities. Analyzes monthly profit and loss statements; identifies trends relative to fixed and variable costs and financial impact of present and anticipated business activity; participates in the development of the annual business plan and budget. Maintains a positive, professional environment in foil compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; ensures that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Authorizes appropriate expenditures including equipment, supplies, advertising, and vehicles; reviews business and payroll records for accuracy; assists in maintaining equipment inventory. Provides input to company initiatives; promptly and effectively resolves legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues; facilitates claim prevention program and other administrative and operational programs.

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Under the guidance of the Project Manager serves as a key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high quality customer service for a client site(s), or specialized security service(s); evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner. Meets regularly with client representatives for status updates and addresses any actual or potential problems; assists in negotiation of client contracts; provides support during client start-ups; provides support in security planning, assessments and surveys; reviews and updates post orders.

 

Oversees, participates in, and coordinates/collaborates with the Project Manager in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development and retention of high caliber staff; ensures that each Staff member is treated with dignity and respect; plans, assigns, and directs work; coaches employees and carries out disciplinary actions, as necessary; supports staff as appropriate in carrying out their respective responsibilities. Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; ensures that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Prepares and coordinates staffing schedules with the Project Manager; ensures scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs; reviews Security Officer site reports to ensure post orders and client directories have been satisfactorily followed; personally inspects all posts as part the evaluation of the security staff.

Serves as the Project Manager during absences of the Project Manager.

 

GUARD I-A

Protects property from theft or damage, or persons from hazards or interference. Duties involve serving at a fixed post, performing patrol rounds on foot or by motor vehicle, or escorting persons or property* May be deputized to make arrests. May also help visitors and customers by answering questions and giving directions. Carries our instructions primarily oriented toward insuring that emergencies and security violations are readily discovered and reported to appropriate authority. Intervenes directly only in situations which require minimal action to safeguard property or persons. Duties require minimal training. Commonly, the guard is not required to demonstrate physical fitness. Prepares client and company required reports insuring reports are accurate and complete.

 

GUARD I-B

Authorized access to classified information. Protects property from theft or damage, or persons from hazards or interference. Duties involve serving at a fixed post, performing patrol rounds on foot or by motor vehicle, or escorting persons or property. May be deputized to make arrests. May also help visitors and customers by answering questions and giving directions. LEAD COURT SECURITY OFFICER

The Lead Court Security Officer Junctions simultaneously as a Court Security Officer and performs all duties of that position. As the Lead Court Security Officer coordinates daily activities to: determine any changes which may be required in the daily routine; assure all Court Security Officers are in proper uniform and all equipment and property is accounted for; serve as liaison between the company and client.

 

In collaboration with management provides orientation and training for assigned staff; assists in interviewing and selection of staff; works to develop and retain a high caliber staff, including promotion and tracking of the Excellence in Service program; ensures that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect. Assigns and directs work; coaches associates, and carries out disciplinary actions, as necessary; supports staff as appropriate in carrying out their respective responsibilities; refers problematic issues to management. Maintains a positive, professional environment in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; ensures that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Communicates and coordinates with management regarding scheduling, staffing, equipment, record-keeping, and related matters, to ensure smooth delivery of client security services; meets with management and other Supervisors to discuss customer service, initiatives, personnel matters, and related issues. Inspects client sites as assigned to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with post orders; visits client representatives to ensure they remain satisfied with services provided; covers vacant posts as necessary.

 

Reviews all client and company-required reports for accuracy and timeliness; assists in preparing and submitting payroll information. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting security areas. Required to demonstrate continuing physical fitness and proficiency with firearms or other special weapons.

 

COURT SECURITY OFFICER

Patrols courthouse to provide security. Escorts defendants to and from the courtroom, and stands guard during court proceeding. Checks courtroom for security. Assignments include not only the monitoring of entrances to the court but also attention to the special needs of the court system, particularly in the area of personal protection for the judges, jurors., witnesses, attorneys., and other persons involved with the court, including the general public.

 

Specific duties include, but are not limited to; entrance control to detect weapons and contraband; roving patrols; staffing fixed posts and monitoring closed circuit television and duress alarms; escorting personnel as directed; preserving law and order and; making apprehensions. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting security areas. Required to demonstrate continuing physical fitness and proficiency with firearms or other special weapons. Prepare client and company reports insuring reports are accurate and complete.

 

SECURITY CLERK I

Under the guidance of the Project Manager and/or Assistant Project Manager establishes records systems and maintains the systems. Establishes and maintains databases as needed to provide information in a timely manner. Provides support during client start-ups. Serve as a receptionist at client facilities to process visitors, issue badges, and maintains an inventory and accountability of badges. Answer telephone and directs the call to the appropriate individual or office. Operates and enters information into automated systems such as computers and access control systems. Prepares client and company required reports ensuring the reports are accurate and complete. Perform other duties as assigned.

COUNTERINTELLIGENCE/TERRORISM ANALYST, AREA SPECIALIST

Analyst/Area Specialists perform all source analysis of threats based on a working knowledge of foreign intelligence organizations and/or terrorist groups, their objectives, activities, and methods of operation. Conducts analysis of such groups, their activities and the threat they represent as well as practical experience in conducting all source analysis to identify trends and projections. Reviews all source reporting to identify developments and performs trend analysis. Seeks to identify developing threats to resources and personnel. Tracks information concerning individuals and groups that are known to represent a threat to the client and client resources. Performs research using analytical methodologies and concepts, and prepare finished reports and briefings.

Establishes and maintains liaison with intelligence, security and law enforcement agencies at various levels to acquire latest information, Analyst/Area Specialists must have practical experience in automated data processing operations and mastery of English spelling, grammar, and usage as suitable for the preparation and review of finished reports and briefing. Writes special studies and analysis.

 

SECURITY CONSULTANT

Provides advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of facility, personnel and resource protection issues. In collaboration with client, conducts analysis of personnel, facility and information protection plans. Reviews facility security, personnel security and information security to identify vulnerabilities and make recommendations to reduce vulnerability to threats.  Provides advice and guidance on lights, locks, video surveillance devices, etc. Conducts surveys of homes and travel routes for individuals who may be targeted for attack or at risk. Examines policies, procedures, training and physical security equipment (electronic and environmental barriers).

 

Develops and/or uses existing security matrix and other methodologies to identify and assess potential security weaknesses. Identify and assesses level of threat in conjunction with vulnerabilities. Employs crime statistics as well as statistical analysis of events targeted against the client to develop viable threat in information. Coordinates with intelligence and law enforcement officials to identify threats and special conditions as well as levels of protection available though existing agencies. Prepares detailed reports with diagrams, photographs, and oilier attachments as may be necessary to support recommendations of security enhancements or upgrades.

 

INVESTIGATOR I

Properly licensed as required by state and local authorities and has basic experience in conducting routine inquiries and investigations requiring a basic understanding of law enforcement and legal issues. Understands and has experience in conducting records research at local courts, law enforcement offices, credit establishments, education institutions and employment agencies. Has experience in conducting routine inquiries to include detailed interviews of references, witnesses, suspects and subjects. Basic computer skills with knowledge of the internet and knowledge of how to research the World Wide Web to gather information available through the electronic media. Mastery of English spelling, grammar and usage suitable to prepare and review finished reports of investigation.

 

INVESTIGATOR II

Properly licensed as required by state and local authorities and has five years experience in law enforcement or investigations at the local, state or national level. Understands and has experience in conducting records research at local courts, law enforcement offices, credit establishments, education institutions and employment agencies. Has experience in conducting routine inquiries to include knowledge of legal procedures and restrictions on investigative activity. Have basic computer skills with knowledge of the Internet and knowledge of bow to research the World Wide Web to gather information available through the electronic media. Knows the elements of proof related to crimes against persons and property. Has experience in conducting investigations of major crimes to include detailed knowledge of structured interviews of collection and preservation. INVESTIGATOR III

Properly licensed as required by state and local authorities, holds a bachelors degree in criminal justice, international relations or a related field from an accredited university and five years experience in law enforcement or investigations at the local, state or national level. Has experience in law enforcement or investigations at the local, state or national level. Has experience in conducting inquiries and investigations requiring a detailed understanding of law enforcement and legal issues. FORENSIC ACCOUNTANT

Properly licensed as required by state and local authorities. Holds a bachelors degree in criminal justice, international relations or a related field from an accredited university and ten years experience in law enforcement or investigations at the local, state of national level. A Masters Degree from an accredited university may be substituted for five years of experience. Has experience in conducting investigations requiring a detailed understanding of law enforcement and legal issues both in the United States and overseas.

 

A Forensic Accountant must have computer skills with knowledge of the Internet and knowledge of how to research the World Wide Web to gather information available through the electronic media. Knows the elements of proof related to crimes against persons and property, Has experience in conducting extensive inquiries to include detailed and structured interviews of witnesses, suspects and subjects. Has knowledge of rules of evidence, evidence collection and preservation. Has experience in conducting overt and covert surveillance required to acquire documentation of the presence of absence of criminal activity. Understands procedures for preparing for and preparing for and presenting courtroom testimony.

 

The Forensic Accountant must also have an understanding of international crime control strategies and connections to security and law enforcement personnel, businesses and organizations worldwide. Must have knowledge of accounting and experience in conducting asset tracing and due diligence investigations on an international basis. Must have knowledge of an experience in dealing with drug and firearms trafficking, money laundering operations, illegal alien smuggling, advanced fee scams, credit card fraud, economic espionage, intellectual property theft and public corruption.

 

Must understand legal strategies and methods of countering money laundering, countering offshore international fraud, and countering industrial theft and economic espionage. Experienced in kidnap and hostage negotiations desired.

Have knowledge of research methodologies and concepts including experience in performing crisis management, security surveys and investigative and operations analysis. Practical experience in automated data processing operation and mastery of English Spelling, grammar and usage suitable to prepare and review of finished reports of investigation.
